Chiropractic care during pregnancy aids in the optimal physiological function of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and birth. Dr. Alex is a candidate with the ICPA Perinatal program and is trained in a specific chiropractic analysis called the Webster Technique.
The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of pelvic imbalance.
In pregnancy, pelvic imbalance may affect the mother's comfort and the baby's position in utero. During birth, pelvic imbalance can affect labor progression, leading to unnecessary intervention. Pelvic imbalance adversely affects uterine nerve function, the structure of the pelvis, and may hinder a baby's ability to gain optimal fetal positioning. These are the very causes of dystocia or difficult, stalled labor. The Webster technique helps achieve a state of balance in the pelvis that may contribute to safe, easier birth outcomes.
Regular chiropractic care throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period can help relieve common complaints and also allow the body to function optimally for a more enjoyable experience for both mom and baby.

Often, this process can result in increased stress on the baby’s nervous system.
Pediatric chiropractic adjustments have demonstrated positive effects in children experiencing:
Pediatric care is safe and gentle. We often describe the pressure of the adjustment as the pressure one would use to test the ripeness of a tomato. The intent and goal is to relieve irritation on the nervous system so your baby can be happy and healthy.
We believe healthy families = happy families.
Regardless of age or activity level, proper spinal care can ensure optimal nervous system function, expression of life, and overall health wellness. We believe that wellness chiropractic care aids in keeping you and your family functioning efficiently and effectively so you can live the best version of you!
